Snow is here

Finally feels like winter. After terribly nice days we finally have some snow, which I like more than the sun anyway.

it's 17 degrees and snowing right now.

What to do????????

Not one for superstition. Never have been. But this season the Redskins have done very well when I wear my Sonny Jurgensen (thanks Xmastime!) jersey and Cam wears my Sean Taylor jersey. Some big losses their has been some wrinkle in this system. Yesterday not only did I not watch the game, but I did not even periodically check the score.

Am I jinxing the Skins?

WHERE IS THE SNOW?!?!?!!

I came to Denver specifically because it snows here, a lot. But as I am writing this, it is 78 degrees and very sunny. Everyone who lives here assures me that by April I will be tired of the snow. That may be true, but let me enjoy some now!

Because of the nice weather I have been hiking and running a lot which is nice. I plan on taking advantage of my last days of unemployment to their fullest. I feel 2008 will fly by once Thanksgiving is over.

Here are some pictures from the hikes:

Dakota Ridge Trail, Morrison (near Red Rocks)

Mesa Trail Head, Eldorado Springs

Royal Arch Trail, Boulder

Really

I am a little confused as to why some people (rednecks) think Barack Obama will "take away their gun's". Really? in an election that has not mentioned gun control, people are scared? A constitutional lawyer has been elected and after not talking about it at all he will defy our constitution? Doubtful.

Why I love Colorado

This actually happened. This is like one of Xmastime's dreams being played out in real life.
