It's a little late, but I figured I'd start a blog so members of the William John McKenna Wilson Memorial Booster Club could have a way of seeing how things are going for me....without having to hear me talk. I'll keep ya'll back home as up to date as I can about the going ons in my new life here in Denver. Following in the footsteps of legendary blogger Greg Xmastime Wilson will be hard.......well actually impossible, I just had to give a shout out to the reason I couldn't ride roller coasters till I was 15 and number 1 blogger of all time (wikipedia.com, July 2008).
I have done a crazy amount of cool things already and I have only been here since May 20th. When I stop to think, it is really wild that after driving nonstop I was shooting hoops on a new basketball rim....outside my new house.....in a new city....in a new state....in a new time zone. The first two weeks were dizzying.
Now things are starting to settle and I am getting into the swing of things. It's hard to believe how amazing my life has been so far and I only hope now that I am 23 and have learned to appreciate things (the good, bad, and the ugly) that I seize this opportunity to live and learn.

Miss you kiddo and looking forward to reading about your adventures in Denver. Oh- and I remember going to Kings Dominion with you when you were like 6. On the Scooby Doo roller coaster you screamed as though someone was shooting you. You’re not lying about your fear of roller coasters, although I had no idea it lasted until you were 15. Yikes.
